Private Label Rights (PLR) ebooks and articles are potent materials for making an online business really profitable; or, if already profitable, even more so. By exploiting texts that are already written, one may speed up the process of publishing those texts in a number of places: as online ebooks, articles, and even as printed books.

The trouble is, however, that exploiting PLR material is not as painless or rapid as many are trying to make it sound. For example, those who market PLR content, and those who do business in the PLR world, many times wish to say that the practice of using PLR content is an unproblematic road to success. But that’s not necessarily the case.

The Problem

The difficulty is this: to be able to make the most of it, one must really edit the Private Label Rights content considerably, not just slightly. This is to guarantee that the search engine robots will index the content favourably, and to guarantee that the potential customers are not bumping into ebooks and articles that they have already read in another place.

So the challenge is to learn the art of rewriting PLR articles and ebooks so that the material ends up being substantially unique. One could rearrange paragraphs or even delete whole paragraphs. Or one could expand paragraphs and add new questions, points, or data. Or one could decide to add photographs, illustrations, graphs, or videos. Or just about anything to make the article or e-book look and feel special.

But Who Has Time to Do It?

But you may now ask the question: “How in the whole world should I practically have time for that? I mean, I bought the PLR products originally to avoid having to do a lot of work. So why am I now facing the very same labor that I tried to steer clear of?”

It is right, of course, that the type of work involved in rewriting and rearranging a PLR article or e-book could be similar. But the actual amount of work is not very alike. Modifying a PLR ebook or PLR article, even with a rather all-embracing rewrite, is a lot less prolonged and agonizing than writing everything from scratch.

What’s more, you may not need to do all that rewriting and rearranging yourself either. You could draw on other parties to finalize the rewriting process.

Here are some interesting suggestions so that you can get the editing of your PLR ebook or PLR article finished: (1) Make use of software; (2) Contact a ghostwriter; (3) Call a guest blogger; (4) Do it yourself.

1. Utilize Software

There are software programs on the market that might be programmed to rewrite (also “spinning”) PLR e-books and articles to make new articles and ebooks. But you may need be very cautious. Some software packages could change the “taste” of the article or ebook, or use poorly chosen synonyms for terms and words that either could turn your article or ebook into gibberish or at least make it appear weird in some sense.

It is therefore nearly at all times essential to look over the newly generated content by hand after it has been processed by the software package. It is quite likely that you might have to take a new round of editing after the text has been “spinned”.

2. Contact a Ghostwriter

Appoining a skilled freelancer to create wholly innovative material to a website might be nearly unworkable for a new site owner, since really original material could be quite costly.

Nonetheless, since you already have acquired the PLR articles or e-books, the idea is not to create innovative material from the ground up, but simply to do some rewriting using different words, and maybe also expanding on a number of of the premises in various places.

It can be a great idea to collect a dozen or two private label rights articles at a time (or a whole Private Label Rights e-book), and then ask the freelancer for a “package price” for the whole set. That way you may be able to get a better quote per paragraph or page than if you just ordered one or two individual articles.

3. Invite a Guest Blogger

Perhaps you could use a guest blog writer to write on your site? You could tell her or him that you have PLR material that she or he could use. In that manner you will be able to generate fresh material for your website without you being involved in any rewriting and rearranging of your own.

One problem with this idea may be, of course, that the ghostwriter may expect to get paid, or to be able to post some links to their own sites and blogs, or ask for some other compensation. In each case, you will have to see what the deal is, and then decide whether or not you think the unique arrangement is worth the trouble..

4. Write It All by Yourself

In case you are truly into writing and editing (or at least are willing to do it even though you don’t like it), you might consider doing all (or at least a part of) the rewriting yourself. At any rate, to rewrite and rearrange a quality private label rights article or ebook is substantially less problematic than composing everything from scratch.

The advantage of doing the work yourself is that you have complete control over the end product, both stylistically speaking and in terms of content. Supposedly you also have a considerable extent of knowledge of whatever topic it is that your articles and e-books are covering, and hence you may probably be well suited to rewrite and edit the private label rights texts quicker than a writer who doesn’t have your particular skills.

Closing Up

PLR ebooks and articles are great resources. But they have got to be considerably edited to be effectively used in your internet business.

The good thing about all of this is that you don’t unavoidably need to do all of the editing yourself (but the end product may be better if you do). Additional ways to provide a rewriting of the Private Label Rights material might be to use some “spinning” software product, to contact freelance ghost writers, or to contact a guest blog writer.

So go right ahead and fill your site or blog with great, uniquely rewritten and sensitively repurposed PLR content. Your clientele will thank you for it!
