About Me

My name is Catherine Fan. I am a full-time stay-at-home mother with two lovely children and a loving husband. I am a former Civil Engineer with tertiary qualification from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. I had 6 years of work experience in Singapore before I jump out of the rat race work environment. I started my internet venture in 2006. With today’s technology and online popularity, venturing and making money online are trend. I strongly believe modern housewife can take care the household and at the same time achieve financial freedom through internet venturing.

The reason behind this blog

This blog is created to share my journey from a Civil Engineer transforming into a full-time mother and a netrepreneur.

When I first decide to give up totally on my engineering profession, many people around me puzzle my decision. They will ask some common question - Why you stop working? Don’t you think it is a big waste on your studied? I know my parent was disappointed at first but they supported my decision after learned my reason behind it.

Most of them (except my family) think that I had wasted my study abroad. I know they are laughing behind me, saying I am a very expensive housewife. Some even said female should not go to tertiary since they will eventually marriage and become a housewife. Their way of thinking is still very old fashion. To them, study hard, go to college, work in a multi-million company and this is the golden path to success. I am tired to explain my reason to them.

I hope to convey my message to them here and share my transformation journey with others through this blog. I would like to dedicate this blog to all full-time mothers and let’s show the world the power of modern housewife.

My Dreams

Making money, making lots of money………… without having to work from 9 to 5 or worrying about recession. I wanted to be able to see my children growing up by my side and provide them with proper growing environment. I dream to travel the world with my family without having to worry expenses. It would be wonderful to have income flowing in while I am still free to enjoy my life everyday. These are my dreams and I believe most of the people are having the same dreams like me.
